Deck the Halls with Poinsettias!
It's beginning to look a lot like....wait, too soon? I created these collaged poinsettia's with a combination of handpainted tissue papers, found papers and excerpts from a Michigan Gardener's magazine, which i hand painted and stamped with musical notes and and "joy to the world" stamp. The bright, shimmering surface of each panel is accented with metallics. Each painting measures 8"x8". These paintings are on wood panels 1.5" deep. Some of the flower petals wrap around the edge of the canvas too :) These are suitable for framing but can be hung as is. The surface is coated with a gloss top coat, adding to a polished, finished look. Enjoy!
