Silver Birch I & II are vertical abstract paintings of a wooded forest with barren branches. The collaged painting is layered with papers and metallic paint.
The paintings, which each measures 20"x40", was created on 1 1/2" gallery canvas. The surface is coated with a gloss UV top coat to preserve the colors and protect against fading. The edges of this panel are painted black and ready for display, and reveal the artists technique with some wrapped papers.
